Burned Alive are one of the longest running rock bands in Ealing although
no one notices. It all started when Mark told me he was in a band and was lookin for a singer, I was more of a lyric
writer back then than a singer but I thought fuck it, It'll be fun. The band comprised of Mark Martin on guitar,
Jeremy Maxton on drums, Andreas Koutas on bass and me on vocals and soon after I took up rhythm guitar for the band. After
many failed band practices, caused by Jeremy wanting a break every 10 fuckin minutes, Andreas and I had formed a bond
and decided to leave the band. Jeremy continued to play drums with us until he hated me for no reason and became a total dickhead.
Mark also came back but then left after about two band practices. Andreas switched to drums and I continued playing guitar.
We recorded about 10 demo songs on tape which you cant get in shops... Many auditions for drummers and bassists passed but
nothing stuck. It was a long time until we widened and strengthened the band with the arrival of Phillip and Michalis.
Every bands guitar and bass sections needs a special something and i believed i had found a chemistry with these two guys.
Phillip was in my class at school and Michalis was a piano playing cousin of Andreas. Due to my take up on the guitar and
the rest of the band saying my singing is shit we had been struggling to find a voice for our band until Marcus King arrived.
He stayed with the band for one year and decided to leave, as he realised he doesnt like metal and no one likes his singing....
Burned Alive, as we are now called, are stronger than ever with a new vocalist on the horizon and a three year sort-out period
behind us only good can come of it....
